Park Policy

A few guidelines that keep Trailwinds clean, quiet, and safe for everyone.

Quiet Hours

Quiet hours are from 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM daily. Excessive noise at any time is prohibited.

Speed Limit and Safety

  • The maximum speed limit throughout the park is 5 MPH.
  • Reckless or unsafe driving is grounds for immediate eviction.
  • All Texas motor vehicle laws apply within the park.

Pet Policy

We love pets and are happy to have your four-legged family members stay with us. A few simple guidelines help keep the park comfortable and safe for everyone, humans and animals alike.

  • Leashes: Please keep your pet on a leash of 6 feet or less whenever they're outside your RV. It keeps your pet safe and lets neighbors, kids, and other dogs relax.
  • Clean-up: Please pick up after your pet right away and use the designated waste receptacles. Thank you for helping keep the park clean for everyone.
  • Weather: Pets should never be left unattended outside or in a vehicle during extreme heat or cold. West Texas weather can turn dangerous quickly, so please bring them inside with you.
  • Good neighbors: We ask that pets be friendly and well-mannered around other guests. If your pet is aggressive, please keep them inside your RV. If a pet becomes a safety concern or ongoing nuisance, management may ask that the pet no longer stay at the park.

Thank you for being a great pet owner and neighbor. Questions? Just ask us at the office.

Site Maintenance and Restrictions

  • Guest shall keep the assigned site clean, neat, and free of excessive clutter.
  • Outdoor furniture, mats, and equipment must be kept within the site boundaries.
  • Storage of excessive junk, scrap materials, or inoperable vehicles is prohibited.
  • No permanent structures, fencing, or digging may be installed without prior written approval from Management.
  • No swimming pools without Landlord's written consent.

Utilities

  • Electrical, water, and sewer connections must be made safely and in compliance with all applicable codes.
  • Guest is responsible for any damage to hookups caused by improper connections.
  • Water hoses must be drinking-water safe (NSF/ANSI certified). All hoses must be properly supported and must not block roads or walkways.
  • Sewer connections must use a proper sewer donut or fitting. Gray water may not be discharged onto the ground.

Fires and Grilling

  • Open ground fires are prohibited.
  • Charcoal and propane grills are permitted. Grills must be attended at all times and kept at least 10 feet from any structure.
  • All fires and flames must be fully extinguished before Guest retires for the night.

Prohibited Activities

  • Washing vehicles or RVs on-site.
  • Performing major mechanical repairs or engine work on vehicles within the park.
  • Discharge of firearms, fireworks, or any projectile weapons.
  • Illegal activities such as drug use or drug dealing. Person(s) caught in violation of this rule are subject to immediate eviction without a refund. Person(s) knowing of any illegal activity are encouraged to notify Management immediately. Any information reported will be strictly confidential.
  • Altercations between guests or any employee (or contractor) of the park.
  • Conduct that disturbs the peace, comfort, or safety of other guests or park personnel.
  • Loud music.
  • Disorderly conduct or drunkenness.
  • Tampering with the electrical box at the RV pedestal. If you are caught doing so, you will be evicted from the Park without a refund.

This list is not exhaustive. Park management reserves the right to decide what is appropriate. When in doubt, please contact management.

Laundry Facilities

A laundry facility is provided for Guest use. Laundering of oil-field apparel or any items contaminated with oil or grease is strictly prohibited. For safety and compliance, the facility is monitored by surveillance cameras. Any Guest found laundering prohibited items shall be subject to immediate eviction without refund and forfeiture of the security deposit.

Septic System Care

Trailwinds RV Park operates a private septic system that is sensitive to improper use, and its continued, reliable operation depends on the cooperation of every guest. To prevent blockages and system backups, only human waste and rapid-dissolving toilet paper may be flushed. Wipes of any kind—including those labeled "flushable"—paper towels, and personal hygiene products must never be flushed. Cooking grease, oils, and food scraps should be placed in the trash rather than washed down the sink. Only biological, septic-safe holding tank treatments may be used; harsh chemicals and formaldehyde-based products destroy the beneficial bacteria the system relies on to process waste.

When connecting at your site, guests must establish a watertight sewer connection using a threaded ring or sewer donut.

Vehicles and Parking

All vehicles need current registration and need to be in running order. Guests are not allowed to perform extensive maintenance on their vehicles — for example, pulling an engine or dropping a transmission.

Parking in an empty site, or blocking another site, is prohibited at all times. The speed limit is 5 MPH.

Do not drive on the grass.
